How Danger is Cold Drinks in Summer?

    All our efforts at weight loss will go waste if we have cold drinks whether after workout or in the day. I never realized and usually took 5 to 6 gulps of cold water when I returned from my training. Then I read how cold drinks can tighten the digestive tracts and increase body weight.

    As soon as I go back home, one of the first things I used to pour up a glass of cold water, especially in the summer. The thirst was never going when I consumed warm water. One day, I had guests at home, a doctor’s family. We offered soft drinks. They laughingly refused. It was peak summer, and I was surprised.

    Although downing a couple of glasses of cold water from the fridge seems to be the most vital thing, health experts say no because it causes many health issues besides throat infection and cold.
