if we consider maternal care pediatrics, supplement feeding is associated with the addition of fortifiers to breastfeeding. Given that the question is about babies, supplement feeding helps mothers who can’t fulfill the milk needs of the growing newborn baby. The feeding system will be given at the breast through a medical supplemental feeding system. The bottle is not used here.

A balanced diet is imperative to upright wellbeing. Many livestock producers balance the diet of animals with supplementary feeding. They add to the mix, the elements missing from the pastures. Supplement feeding helps add in food that offers energy, vitamins, and minerals. This is far better than ordinary grazing which often causes a lack of certain nutrients. It is also interesting to note that the nutritional requirements of sheep and cattle can differ in the different phases of their lifetime. A balanced diet with supplementary feeding will ensure that the livestock is healthy. Some other factors influencing the diet include size, pregnancy, age, etc. Supplement feeding will enhance the fertility, mortality rate, and growth rate of livestock. Just like humans, it helps in overcoming nutritional deficiencies and the production of milk or wool.
