    We all love pancakes, and these banana whole wheat pancakes can be a great way to get some much-needed nutrients into your diet. They are easy to make, and you need less than five ingredients!

    Bananas are incredibly healthy, delicious, and one of the most inexpensive fresh fruits you can buy. They’re usually well-tolerated and easily digested. Bananas are rich in potassium, fiber, and other nutrients that help digestion and heart health. You can add bananas to yogurt, cereal, and smoothies, and they work as a topping on whole-grain toast with peanut butter. Ripe bananas are sweeter, and you can even use them in place of sugar in your baking and cooking. It makes them an excellent choice for your diet.

    Whole grains like whole wheat, whole oats, etc., contain fiber which is vital to prevent constipation and other digestive issues. Whole grains are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber essential to your toddler’s diet, and you can incorporate them in many ways. Whole wheat flour is also rich in vitamins B-1, B-3, and B-5, including riboflavin and folate. It also has more iron, calcium, protein, and other nutrients than white flour.


    – In a bowl, mash a ripe banana until very smooth with only a few lumps.

    – Add in the whole wheat flour, egg, and cinnamon (if using) and mix until everything is combined.

    – Heat a skillet over medium heat, and grease it with little butter.

    – Pour the batter on the skillet into tiny puddles and let cook for 3-4 minutes or until the sides start to become firm and the bottoms are golden brown.

    – Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

    – Let them cool slightly. Stack them up and top with honey (if needed) and fresh banana toppings!
